Requirements:
Job Summary:
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software applications. Recommends and defines use of software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis and certification of software. Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members. Extensive knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Has enough industry experience to research new technology. Often leads a group of software developers/engineers. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions:
Lead the design, architecture, and development of software applications.
Improve software stability thorough unit and system testing.
Perform production support development for all production support issues.
Participate in all coordinated testing efforts and software release efforts.
Guide development of junior developers and research best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to and enforce all change management control policies, documentation policies, and implementation coordination policies.
Complete self-direction of tasks.
Leadership of others when necessary.
Make architectural decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive .NET framework programming ability.
Extensive (Web) programming experience in another technology.
Comprehensive understanding of W3C technologies – Jscript, CSS, etc.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years software development experience or 9-12 years software development experience
