Background
DLA J6F works a range of Information Technology areas including web environmental support. J6F Web Development (J6FSW) designs, develops and supports customer Internet/Intranet sites and associated web applications, in compliance with Federal, DoD, and DLA policy along with Our life-cycle process. Computer Choice, Inc. is seeking an individual to support the J6F Web Development mission. A Computer Choice, Inc Architect will work with customers in order to collect requirements, which will be used by development contractors in the delivery of solutions. Components of a web application may include a combination of languages and/technologies to include but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), extensible markup language (XML), XTML, ActiveX, OLE, Macromedia Flash, C#, C++, ODBC, Pascal, Python/Pearl, Cold Fusion, VB Script, Dream-Weaver, Harvest, Visual Basic,
JAVA, JavaScript, ASP. net, active server page (ASP), and Oracle. High-level programming languages compatible with microcomputer workstations and/or DLA approved Internet web browsers. Applications are hosted on web servers, which may have access to a variety of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Project Manager). Applications may be hosted on web servers and application servers (to include but not limited to: Microsoft IIS and MS Exchange Server). Operating system environments include, but are not limited to, Linux, Apache, Windows and Windows Server.Internet and Intranet web sites and applications are planned and developed utilizing analytical skills and appropriate software tools. Each IT project will be managed through the life-cycle phases: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support (on-going support includes maintenance, enhancements, and migration). The life-cycle analysis includes studying work processes, mission goals, and objectives to design a system to meet customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.

• Cost Estimates including Labor Categories, products, hours and timeframes
• Consolidate/create/update/amend design document with all planned and contracted projects to include future development and milestones associated with each effort andproject.
• Technical Review and Evaluation
• Vendor Proposal Evaluation and Impact Analysis of Risks
• Requirements clarification to vendors and stakeholders
• Tracking and building of design documentation
• Support DLA functional meetings and working groups
• Review solutions to ensure requirement verification
• New technology integration
• In-house technical expert for DLA developed applications
• Prepare and present reports, demonstrations and briefings
• Design, Security and Maintenance Support
• Provide technical advice to DLA customers
• Requirements analysis for databases at DLA
• Customer focused in order to work with diverse groups of personnel around DLA
• Provide status reports on multiple projects
• Review of web developmental products prior to being integrated into the production environment.
Subject Matter Expert – 4 years specialized experience, 10 years general experience with a BS/BA Degree
Web Engineer – 1 year specialized experience, 2 years general experience with a HS Diploma
