ROPES COURSE DIRECTOR WANTED:
The ropes course at Camp Walt Whitman is equipped with countless high and low ropes elements integrated into our beautiful forest setting.

Our instructors may find themselves hanging forty feet in the air from the climbing wall or showing a camper how to fasten a harness. Our instructors spend time teaching the basics of trust and teamwork on our low ropes elements before moving up to more advanced and challenging high ropes elements. On the high ropes course our goal is to challenge campers out of their comfort zone while providing the necessary support and guidance to help them overcome their fears and experience great self discovery.

Our older campers supplement their experience on the high ropes course with an introduction to rock climbing. We take these campers climbing locally in beautiful Rumney, New Hampshire.

Our Ropes Course Director is responsible for the supervision of 3 additional staff members and the management and supervision of our low ropes course, high ropes course, and rock climbing program. Interested applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have significant ropes course experience.

All ropes course instructors participate in a three-day training provided by InnerQuest as well as additional training before camp.

Compensation package includes salary of $2200-$3200 depending upon experience, a travel stipend, and room and board. Dates are June 14th through August 16th.
