Job Description: Set up, configure and support internal and/or external small business server 2003 networks. Maintain system applications, security, patches, upgrades and network configuration. Provide server and desktop technical support and guidance to users. Requirements: BS or equivalent work experience of 1-2 years, Microsoft certification plus. Work experience in the administration of the Small business server 2003. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and motivated team player in providing server/desktop support in Microsoft environments. Testing is required. Candidate must demonstrate experience with Windows 2003 Small business Server (and all of its components, SQL and ISA plus), Windows XP professional, Windows Vista Business and Microsoft Office 2000/2003. Ability to configure and troubleshoot server, desktop and laptop systems. Upon acceptance of the position, employee will be asked to pass the 70-282 exam within 180 days of employment start date. Must be able to lift heavy equipment (50 lbs max).Must be able to reach overhead, stand, walk, crouch and bend behind equipment and furniture. Compensation Benefits: Work hours are flexible but must be a minimum of 40 hours per week. Performance review after 90 days, with potential salary increase of 3% to 5% After 90 probation period: 10 days paid vacation time + 5 personal days.
