This person provides production support for all automation procedures and all requests for code moves into production. The incumbent also is responsible for supporting all production and non-production region requests and handling non-production support. In addition, the responsibilities include answering and responding to daily support calls and assigned tickets; sharing responsibility for security and role assignments within Source Code Management tool; taking part in client implementations and releases in Pilot and Production and sharing in after hours and weekend on-call rotation schedules. Responsibilities and Duties: Working with end users to define requirements for automating processes and procedures Responsible for automation setups and programming Participate in Source Code Management Performing region refreshes when requested Assisting with performing database refreshes when required Education/Experience Requirements: BS/A degree in relevant field, unless there is significant relevant work experience Systems development experience, including working with business owners in defining detailed requirements, working with technical staff to review technical design documents and supporting overall implementation activities Broad knowledge of application development methodologies, processes, and procedures Solid understanding of data center operations and production control processes and procedures Able to quickly analyze and solve problems Able to work as a team player who is highly motivated, detailed oriented within an environment that is fast paced and has changing priorities Able to work independently Excellent written and oral communications skills Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation Capable of managing multiple concurrent activities with critical deadlines Able to follow detailed instructions or procedures Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience as a software developer or application architect At a minimum solid working knowledge of: - Linux and Windows operating systems - Scheduling systems, preferably Argent - Monitoring systems, preferably NetIQ - Reporting systems, preferably Crystal - Database systems, preferably Progress and/or MS SQL
