Marketing Requirements: Assist in developing and implementing departmental marketing plan; assist other firm members with marketing projects as requested; assists in the preparation and execution of strategy to win new business; develops third party business contact-persons such as lawyers, bankers investment bankers, venture capitalists or other business persons whose acquaintances could result in selling; attend marketing functions and represent the Firm in a positive manner; develop proposal process; involved in community organizations/other forms of public service. Administrative Requirements: Assist in departmental budgeting process as requested; assists/teach interns and tax staff tax software and tax department procedures as requested; delegates appropriate tasks and responsibilities to staff and administrative personnel; develop departmental policies and procedures; develops and maintains productive relationships with the admin staff; insures staff seniors and supervisors attend required and relevant optional training; participates in office mentoring program. Client Services: Adds value to services by identifying client expectations and then meeting mutually agreed upon objective; assists client by advising of tax implications of their business objective recommended alternate course of action; demonstration of professional interest in providing clients with quality services; develop and monitor quality control procedures; develop sound planning skills and administrative routines; frequent client contact; successfully manages the planning, administration and conclusion of client engagements. Personal and Professional: Act as a mentor and role model for staff; actively involved in the advancement of the firm's culture; adhere to firm policy regarding client confidentiality; adhere to professional ethics of the firm, AICP and GA Society of CPA. Builds leadership skills in self and others - develops the ability to be a mentor and actively participates in the office mentoring program. Develop action plan for achieving goals. Develops specific and quantifiable goals for personal and professional development and takes primary responsibility for revisiting such goals. Fosters a team environment within the department and firm. Maintain professional attitude, behavior and appearance; meet chargeable hour goal; portrays a clear sense of vision and direction; possesses strong presentation and writing skills and takes primary responsibility for development of own career. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to read and interpret general business terms. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from auditors, clients and other S&H personnel and the general public.
