Lombardi is looking for a Technical Consultant to work out of Atlanta, GA or the surrounding area.
Technical Consultants provide deep technical domain knowledge on solution delivery projects for Lombardi's customers. Technical Consultants have a natural curiousity about technical problems, and the desire to make customers successful by building solutions that are reliable, scalable, performant and reusable. Technical Consultants are the go-to person to extend or augment Lombardi's software, tools and techniques to solve customer problems. Technical Consultants have excellent software development skills and are very knowledgeable about the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
•Provide on-site technical expertise and direction on solution delivery projects to Lombardi's customers.
•Collaborate with BPM Analysts and BPM Consultants to drive out the technical requirements for solution.
•Deliver on the to the non-functional requirements: scale, performance, reliability, reuse, physical and logical architecture.
•Build reusable tools and other assets that can be leveraged by other members of the Lombardi solution delivery community.
Job Requirements
•5+ years consulting/customer delivery experience as a technical consultant and/or architect.
•Willingness to travel 80 percent of the time.
•Key experience with large systems architecture and understanding of:
oScale, reliability, performance, and high availability systems.
oVarious different deployment topologies
oObject oriented design
oApplication integration with ERP, EAI, CRM vendor products
oClient-Server architecture and web application architectures.
•Excellent hands-on technical skills with experience and/or working knowledge of the following technologies:
oJ2EE Architecture
oJ2EE Application Servers:; WebSphere, Weblogic, iPlanet, jBoss, Tomcat.
oWeb Services and Service oriented Architecture (SOA).
oDatabases and SQL: Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, Informix
oOther tactical technical skills: Java, HTML, XSL, XML, XPATH, Javascript, JSP, etc.
•Familiarity with the following is beneficial:
oWindows NT/98/2000/XP
oUnix systems (AIX, Solaris, Linux)
oMainframe (MVS, CICS, OS/390)
oCORBA, COM/DCOM, .NET
•Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to handle impromptu as well as formal discussions with clients to develop technical approach to their business processes, as well as to educate clients on TeamWorks and other technologies and how they apply to Business Process Management.
