Responsibilities: Provide technical analysis and support to diagnose and resolve complex E911 service and feature related problems. Responds to trouble tickets, escalations, inbound calls and will utilize reporting tools to meet critical guidlines and performance targets associated with E911. Other responsibilities include supporting and participating in root cause analysis investigations, Systems integration and E911 related software / hardware upgrades. Qualifications: Requires a minimum of five years experience in a field relating to wireless operations and engineering. Previous experience in a technical support role is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Various Application software is preferred; (MapInfo, CrossStreets, Snooper, NetCool, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, NetAnalyst, etc.) Due to the scope of this position, a broad knowledge of network systems, call handling adn associated applications is necessary. Strong communications skills are also vital. Excellent oral & written communication skills are needed, along with strong interpersonal skills. Strong Trouble-Shooting Abilities. Strong Understanding of GSM and UMTS Technologies. Strong Understanding of Voicemail, HLR, SMS, WAP, E911, WLS and other Adjunct Systems.
