Major Position Responsibilities:

This individual will provide leadership and oversight of the technical architecture, development and deployment of high-availability, clustered J2EE application environment. Primary responsibility for leadership of technical an functional specialist working to definite design of the system through customer-centric JAD sessions. He/she will also be responsible for working directly with the North Dakota customer and ACS personnel.

Additional responsibilities include:

· Lead Technical Support Team
· Understanding of J2EE architecture
· Works with Application and Integration Architects to ensure all integration points requirements and standards are defined andmet
· Works with all functional teams to help design all ND customizations in compliance with existing product architecture and design
· Verifies all standards and guidelines across all customization areas including rules engine
· Provides architectural expertise to the North Dakota Enterprise MMIS for the design, development, and implementation the Enterprise platform. Duties include:
? Functional and Non- functional requirements identification
? Resource planning and procurement
? Timelines
· Works with end users and project stakeholders to define delivery dates, integration points, and software/hardware requirements
· Manages the design and development of North Dakota specific integration services and customizations
· Works with Enterprise team to evaluate possible enhancements to the core system based on ND requirements and customizations
· Leads Joint Application Design sessions with the North Dakota department and technical staff.

REQUIRED:

(MINIMUM)

This individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to lead a virtual team of individuals who may report administratively to other departments. Proven track-record of design and development of large, complex, transaction oriented, mission critical business systems and the ability to troubleshoot and tune such systems is important. The individual in this position routinely works under demanding deadlines and often handles heavy workloads, operating with only limited supervision. Some travel (25%) should be expected.

· AIX, Solaris, zOS
· Secure, distributed network topology (web and client/server)
· WebSphere Application Server
· IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM)
· IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM)
· IBM WebSEAL
· LDAP
· LAN/Wan Architectures
· ITCAMS or Wily monitoring products
· Disaster Recovery Processes, Procedures and Policies
· Batch scheduling
· AIX LPARS
· MQ Series architecture
· High Availability Architecture (IBM HACMP AIX Hardware)
· AIX LPARS
· SAN
· Firewalls
· Security Solutions
· Intrusion Detection Tools

Preferred:

· Prior Medicaid or health claims processing system experience is a plus.
