We are currently looking for a strong Telecom Engineer to provide hands-on experience and capable of working in a fast paced, growing environment.
Day to Day activities include but are not limited too the following:
- SIP Call Flow management and maintenance
- Circuit ordering and follow up to delivery
- Circuit turn up with Third party Vendors and Telecom vendors
o After hours work required
- Capacity checklist and capacity planning
- Toll-Free Number and DID tracking and Planning
- Dial Plan Management
- Server deployment planning and logistics for Genesys Project
- Information management for Third Party Vendors for Genesys Project
- Working knowledge of SIP
- Troubleshooting SIP messaging
- Knowledge and Understanding of the PSTN and Toll-Free Networks
- Understanding ISDN as used for Voice applications
- Understanding of the basic differences between ISDN and SS7
- Voice Circuit Troubleshooting
- Outstanding communication skills
o Frequent Calls with Carriers and Third Party Vendors from around the world.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Working Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications include Access and Visio
- Flexible Schedule due to out of hours Circuit delivery and Turn Ups
- Any experience with Sonus is a BIG plus!
Advancement:
- On the Job Avaya training
- On the job Genesys Training
- Based of performance of assigned tasks and understanding of technologies, formal training will be offered
