This Thule rack system is made specifically for 1997-2003 5 series BMWs and
screws into the slots in the rain gutters on the top of the car.There are
no "clamps" and therefore the rack system does not touch the paint.The system costs $450 new.
1 x 753 BMW Specialty Carrier (feet and bars)
1 x 590 V2 Bike tray (locks in the bike and accommodates bikes
with disc brakes)
1 x 871 Fairing (medium) - for noise reduction.
