Tier 2 Customer Relations Associate


We are currently seeking three Tier 2 Customer Relations Associates to add to our team!As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with several customer bases, including commercial accounts, builders, multi-family homes, regulatory agencies and Tier 1 Customer Service Representatives. You will also be assigned to represent the company in a variety of customer facing assignments by performing the following tasks:
. Answer customer care escalated calls and resolve issues
. Answer inbound calls from various consumer and community agencies, promote the company and training our partners in Catalyst policy
. Place outbound calls to customers, as well as agency partners to bring open issues to a quick and positive resolution
. Become the Subject Matter Expert on all policy and procedure related to Catalyst Energy policy and procedures.
. Facilitate 3-way communication between customer, Catalyst and AGLC regarding physical gas distribution issues
. Monitor daily, weekly and monthly system reports of various customer account issues and ensure that the account is in good standing, financially correct, actively billing and conforming to Catalyst business rules
. Provide answers to commercial and residential questions, resolve customer's problems with billing, enrollment, account transfers and generally provide custom analysis to customer account issues
. Identify training needs and assist in the preparation of materials to improve Catalyst business processes or that of its business partners

Qualifications:
•Must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience working in a business to business environment.
•Must have a high level of computer proficiency including prior experience working with customer care and/or billing systems as well as and Excel, Word, PowerPoint, e-mail and others.
•Must have a desire to drive excellence through meticulous attention to detail. This position manages the monthly billing and revenue of high impact corporate accounts and that has no room for error.
•Must possess strong analytical skills – be comfortable with spreadsheets, understand billing, monthly recurring charges, adjustments etc. with a strong financial acumen.
•Excellent problem solving skills.This position will be required to take charge of their account issues and be expected to understand the problem and propose and successfully implement solutions.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skill and group presentation skills required.
•The ability to handle multiple projects at one time with little supervision.
•Highly organized.
•4 year degree desired

The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to customer service and the ability to stay on task and drive toward a successful and immediate resolution coupled with the ability to deal with people in a variety of contexts while maintaining civility, respect and a positive attitude. Outstanding communication skills are mandatory and a writing sample will be required as part of the selection process. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel as well as the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting and recommend solutions required.
