Professional services firm located in Midtown has an opening for a full-time Time and Expense/AP Specialist to join the Accounting team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing time entry, process accounts payable, generate time and expense reports, as well as other accounting functions. Specific responsibilities include: •Process monthly time and expense reports •Responsible for daily and monthly reporting •Process and preparation of monthly client invoices •Code client invoices with appropriate general ledger coding •Manage and ensure accuracy of all new jobs, including set up of client codes and tasks •Enter and update billing rates in accounting system •Research and troubleshoot outstanding invoices •Prepare weekly check run •Monitor accuracy of all time entry •Assist staff in time entry inquires •Maintenance of AP records Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred •Related experience can be substituted if basic accounting courses have been completed •Two or more years of work-related experience in a professional services firm where business is fee-based and/or project-driven •Knowledge within a time entry environment is required •Knowledge of Clients & Profits a plus, but not required •Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel •Careful attention to detail •Detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills For immediate consideration please email your resume to tjp12345@gmail.com.
