Physics, Statistics and Chemistry Tutors Needed for Roswell, Atlanta and Duluth
We are looking for tutors all over the Atlanta Area.We are especially interested in applicants willing to travel to the following counties: Fayette, Clayton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Cobb, Henry and North/South Fulton.
StudyPoint specializes in one-on-one, in home tutoring and test preparation for students in K-12. We approach education with the idea that a student never stops learning and each student learns in a different way. Therefore, at StudyPoint, we offer personalized support and curriculum for students in test preparation and academic subject tutoring, including the PSAT/SAT/SAT Subject Tests /ACT and a multitude of academic subjects.
Currently we are recruiting enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate individuals who are interested in making a difference in students’ lives!The ideal StudyPoint tutor is a person residing and/or working in the greater Altanta area with experience and confidence in working with students. Many of our tutors are graduate students, professionals, or certified teachers. Candidates must be able to tutor with StudyPoint through the 2008-2009 school year.

Outstanding Pay! Tutor salaries start from $20-$23/hr, with semi-annual opportunities for a raise. We do not “cap” salaries.
Make your own schedule! Tutors work very flexible schedules, with most tutoring occurring during afternoons, evenings, and weekends for 5-15 hours per week.
We train! We provide our tutors with extensive training to review the structure and strategies of the SAT/ACT, the format of our academic tutoring, and more!
Position Requirements:
StudyPoint tutors must have…
- BA/BS with a minimum college GPA of 3.0
- 2 years teaching or tutoring experience
- Minimum SAT score of 1300 (650/650) or 28 ACT score for test prep tutoring
- Regular access to a car
- PASSION for education
- Professionalism and creativity
Teaching certification is desirable but not a requirement. Those with certification will be paid a premuim.
