Job Description
Kaneva’s Senior Interface Architect will be responsible for designing the way our members interact with our products. From our social networking and media sharing web sites, to the 3D experience of the World of Kaneva game, you will be involved in blending today’s hottest technology into a cohesive, immersive user experience.
In this position you will work closely with product managers, developers, graphic designers, and writers to refine existing interface elements, and design and implement a steady stream of new features. You will help to set interface and interaction standards and drive the implementation of those standards across multiple interfaces.
Requires strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with internal clients to determine needs and requirements. Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed. Requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once and effectively manage small projects.
Requirements
•B.S. in Computer Science or relevant field
•5+ years experience designing user interfaces for software or web applications
•Proven ability to turn business requirements into a detailed functional specification (wireframe)
•Expert knowledge of Web 2.0 interface methods, including DHTML controls, AJAX, and text-based controls
•Understanding of usability heuristics
•Ability to work within the constraints of time, technology, and resources to design the best solution
•Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. Visio or similar software for charting and analyzing process flow
