User Interface Designer

We have a permanent position available for a UI Designer in Marietta!

Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000 + Amazing Benefits!

Our client wants an experienced UI Designer to come in and review their existing application base and work on developing new features, layout interfaces and develop new workflows.

You will review existing applications and identify inconsistencies in order to give the applications a “face lift”.There are several usability and customization/ field changes that need to be made.

Must have extensive wireframe and design expertise and have the ability to work in a communicative and collaborative environment.Must have the ability to make the product look ‘cooler’ and ‘more fresh’ – this may include collaborating on new icon design.

This is an opportunity to use User Interface Design expertise for a major project with a well-known, international company.

***This is NOT a programming position!

The following skills are required for this position:
•Solid experience solving real world UI Design problems for consumer or business web sites
•Experience leading brainstorming activities such as whiteboarding exercises, customer needs mapping, and design mapping activities
•Extensive experience creating wireframes, flow diagrams, site maps and other artifacts using tools such as InDesign or Visio
•Experience working with and creating labeling systems for large web sites
•Experience applying usability research and other user research to new or existing designs
•Requires a BA or equivalent experience and relevant industry experience.
•Degree in cognitive sciences or information architecture/design is a strong plus.

The following skills would be beneficial for a candidate to possess:
•Some experience with behavioral targeting, personalization, portal experiences, extranet experiences and B2B commerce is a strong plus
•Degree in cognitive sciences or information architecture/design is a strong plus.
