Hey my name is Chris. Sometime in late May or early June I will be traveling to Savannah. Its a yearly ritual for me. I know the city very well. This time I will be traveling alone unless someone would like to join me. I have room for up to two people. The trip will be 3-5 days. Im very flexible. Probably starting on Thursday and coming back Sunday or Monday. I do enjoy myself and have fun. No loafing around with me. If you want eventful trip then I'm your man. This can be a collaborative trip that we could plan together or we can go our separate ways. Some of the places or activities I plan on doing are as followed: Fort Pulaski, Fort Jackson, Tybee Island Beach, Tybee Island Lighthouse Museum, Telifair Museum of Art, Wormslow Historical Site, Skidaway Island State Park, Bonaventure Cemetary, Riverboat Tour, Dolphin Magic: Dolphin Encounter Tour, The Crab Shack (Some Of the best and freshest seafood you can get), Paula Deans & Sons (Family Owned Restraunt AS SEEN ON TV). City wide trolley tours, Ghost and Graveyard Tours (Walking/Trolley Version), Wet Willies (Best Frozen Alcoholic Drinks), There are several bars and very good eateries. We will frequent the historic River St. Visiting some of the shops... Taking in the river side view relaxing atmosphere... Day and night... Its a wonderful place to be. The city has over 20 squares with entertwined oak trees well over 100 years old. Covered in an endless arrangement of spanish moss. If there is enough time we could possibly go to St. Simons And Jekyll Island. There is a lighthouse on St. Simons. Actually both lighthouses on Tybee And St. Simons Offer breath taking views of the ocean and surround landscapes. On Simons there is Fort Frederica. When the weather is hot we'll probably take in a relaxing film at one of the many theaters. Enjoy a relaxing sunrise or enjoy the waves and cool breeze on a sunset at the beach. I will probably bring my bicycle. Some of the parks and sites allow you to ride them. You can get around the city pretty quick too. Exercise and the breeze would definetly be welcoming on the warm/hot humid days. Im not picky on hotels. If your are male we could more likely share and split a double. If its a group or couple the your accomidations are your preference. There are good places to stay less than 100 even at 75 a night. Of course you need to buy your own meals. Breakfast at hotel is fine with me a small lunch and really dine out that night. Eating isnt my big thing. The heat and the busy schedule will keep some people nauseated. I have a gas sipper car. It takes 35 dollars to fill up and with average atlanta driving 28-30 mpg. I can retard it a knotch and get 33-35. But expect realistically 325-350 miles a tank. I prefer to split gas with the other party. Or some arrangement can be made. I dont want to be the boss of this trip im willing to take lots of input. Id rather it be a enjoyable trip for all instead of you feeling like you are being dragged along. Must be fit and in shape. Can take warm/hot weather. Age preferably under 35. I can act as a tour guide. If its your first time. Or if you happen to be older. I will be driving. Im very responsible. Clean driving record. If money is an issue events can be trimmed but personally everytime i go i spend over 3-4 hundred on top of hotels and gas. I drive a 2006 Scion Xb. Should be plenty of space for small fluffy and or tall people. Will keep car stocked with cooler for water and other refreshments. Contact me at 4046806220.
