Emergint Technologies is seeking an experienced detail-oriented SharePoint Developer to work with our Atlanta team.The successful candidate will support the National Center for Environmental Health.
SharePointContent Developer . Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties: Input into creating technical solutions for design or functionality of web or offline applications. Write and present technical design documentation. Follow coding and documentation standards. Take a key role in technical strategy, testing and defining development standards. Assist In the development of frameworks for implementing technical solutions. Perform such other duties that may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Development Manager and/or Head of Technical Development. Share skills and successful methods of working with team. Work as part of the team, implementing solutions and integrating layout. Provide technical and project guidance to development team members. Provide support to the Technical Team Leader in componentizing software deliverables. Aid the developers in creating solutions and problem solving.
Requirement Qualifications:
** Degree in computing or related subject; or equivalent relevant commercial experience
** Advanced knowledge of developing and maintaining content for SharePoint 2003 and 2007 including forms and team workspaces.
** Advanced knowledge of HTML, Style Sheets, Themes
** Knowledge of Master Pages and ASP.NET development
** Clear understanding of SharePoint programming model, security, safe controls, ASP.NET integration, compilation, etc.
** SharePoint Content Management (CMS)
** SharePoint Membership
** Knowledge of Development Approaches and Tradeoffs with SharePoint
** Excellent attention to detail
Optional Skills (Nice to have skills):
** Membership in DMZ-based solutions
** Setup of Blogs and Wiki**s under SharePoint 2007
** Knowledge of server-side programming and databases development
** SharePoint development, including Web Parts, Event Handlers, Application Pages and Workflow
** In depth knowledge of: SharePoint Web Services 2003, SharePoint Server 2007, .NET 2.0, C#, VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
