Position: Windows Security Engineer
Duration: 6-12 months CTH/ Fulltime position

Job Description
Qualifications/skills and experience/knowledge required or desired to perform this job:
Required skills include 3 or more of the following
Windows XP/Vista/Server 2003/ Server 2008 security configuration and hardening skills.
Implementing third party/custom applications on Windows operating systems to comply with the Principle of Least Privilege (i.e. services, COM+/DCOM, registry and file security)
Microsoft Active Directory (Server 2003/2008) support:
· Advanced Group Policy (security configurations)
· multi-domain access control via Group Membership
·cross-platform integration [UNIX, J2EE, Linux, etc]
Web Security (i.e. IIS Web Permissions, IIS SSL/TLS support, .NET security, COM+, Internet Explorer 6/7)
Scripting Skills (i.e. VB, VBS, WMI, MSI)
Certification(s) - If not already certified, then must be able to complete Security certification within a reasonable period of time.
MCSE: Security on Windows Server 2003 (most preferred)
MCSA: Security on Windows Server 2003
MCTS: Windows Vista and 2007 Microsoft Office System Desktops, Deploying and Maintaining
MCTS: Technology Specialist: Windows Vista, Configuration
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to solve problems logically and systematically
Ability to easily adjust to changes in work assignments
Demonstrated customer service skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Good written and oral communication skills including an ability to explain complex concepts to others
Able to provide coverage for off-business hours and weekends during project implementations
