Job Title: Citrix Engineer
Job Description: Client is Certified Citrix Partner with three Citrix Certified Integration Architects (CCIA), which is the highest level of Citrix certification. Team of certified consultants who have expertise implementing Microsoft and Citrix solutions across our geographies and in our Data Centers.
Job Req.: Responsibilities:
The incumbent of this position will:
· Participate in the design and implementation of Citrix servers
· Identify and troubleshoot Citrix Software issues
· Work in tandem with high-caliber technical staff, including project managers, to deploy large-scale enterprise server designs
and complex systems
· Assess and recommend architectural designs/changes to customer systems in response to business or technical drivers
· Serve as liaison to partners to facilitate problem resolution
· Clearly communicate problem/resolution process to customers or management
· Prepare design documents and technical papers explaining and motivating the approaches to be taken in the architectures of
systems
· Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business
objectives.
· Work in a team environment
· Contribute to intellectual capital such as white papers and presentations on area of expertise
· Contribute to product development, written proposals and develop technical documentation
· Conduct workshops, seminars and public presentations
Qualifications:
· Three to five years of significant large-scale, enterprise planning, development, rollout and support experience
· Previous consulting experience preferred
· MCSE 2003 preferred
· Citrix Certified Administrator CCA (WinFrame 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, MetaFrame 1.8, XP, PS 4.0) preferred
· Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator, CCEA (Version 1.8 - Presentation Server 4.0) preferred
· Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience
· In-depth knowledge of Citrix/Applications:Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 - Presentation 4.0
· Citrix Secure Gateway
· Citrix Access Gateway
· Citrix Web Interface/Nfuse
· Secure Access Manager/Nfuse Elite
· Application Packaging, Citrix TechnologiesWorking knowledge of current and pending Microsoft Windows operating systems
and other operating system knowledgeNT domain/Active Directory,
· Windows 2000/2003 installation and configuration,
· IIS Configuration
· Browsing and name resolutionDevelopment experience or background is a plus
· Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, including the principles of network routing and
client/server programming.
· A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners and peers
· Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs.
· This position may require the ability to travel average of 50%
· Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technology
recommendations from a business perspective.
